Understanding language:
Our Skilled DJ's have been trained to read the crowd, work the room and play the request of your guests. This means we must understand verbal AND body language. Reading body language is the most refined and important skill the DJ will ever learn and the hardest to do. Understanding body language is a key element to a successful party.
Working the room:
Working the room is the next most important skill; this is when the DJ uses a combination of timing, music request and their own song picks to peak the dance floor. The crowd's body language from the first song the DJ plays will guide the DJ's direction to ensure dance floor is always packed. Building each song off the last and feeding the crowds energy from their own energy is an art and skill in itself.
Playing requests:
Obviously the guests of honour have particular music selections they would like to hear throughout the night and because we take your fine points serious from the initial consultation, we already have the inside track on which direction your music should go based on genres and ethnic music preselected. Your guests will also have requests they want to make and the DJ's job is to incorporate these requests at the right moments and time.
